OUR Core program

Psychotherapy Solution was designed to help cancer survivors and their loved ones find the strength to meet the challenges of a cancer diagnosis through psychotherapy.

What we do

Our primary focus is on connecting individuals residing in Central Texas with therapists to help find the strength to take on a cancer diagnosis for themselves or their loved ones. We collaborate with therapists in our established provider network to provide access to this critically important support.

Those seeking support communicate with us directly to be connected with a Flatwater care provider. We also partner with top cancer institutions and organizations in Central Texas to identify those in need of support. This network includes, but is not limited to, Navigators at:

  • Texas Oncology

  • Breast Cancer Resource Center of Texas (BCRC)

  • Wonders and Worries

Who are these care providers?

Our organization has created a network of licensed psychotherapists (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, and others) that specialize in trauma and cancer related issues and that meet Flatwater standards. The money raised by Flatwater allows our network of therapists to provide care to people through ongoing support.

Flatwater care providers are not volunteers - we provide paid care for those in need as one way to ensure proper attention is given to each and every program participant.

If you are a licensed psychotherapist interested in learning more about our provider network, please view our Provider page.
